This is some heavy work. I've seen this done before in a basement. What they had to do was to bust up the concrete until they found the toilet drain pipe. Then they had to saw out a section of the pipe and insert a tee which had the proper size connection for the shower drain. Then once they properly connected the pipes and connected the proper traps, they had to replace the concrete.

If you are just asking a generic question, all drains connect to the same main sewer pipe in some fashion. If you are physically trying to connect a bath drain, into a toilet drain, STOP! If you don't use the proper fittings, connected in the correct place, YOU WILL HAVE RAW SEWAGE, BLACK WATER, COMING UP INTO YOUR TUB! Take the advice, and call a plumber. He will tell you if it is possible or not.

It's not very easy, both need to be vented through the roof and a trap installed on the bath to eliminate the possibility of sewer gas seeping into your house. This would involve major construction, best to call a plumber and pay big $$$.

Do yourself a favor and hire a licensed plumbing contractor. More involved that you need to know. Not enough space here.

Check your local codes. A real plumbing shop (not a big-box store, they are idiots when it comes to advice) will give you the answers. Most are glad to help...Rick

I highly doubt they would fit. . .It is kind of like connecting a garbage disposal to a bathroom sink.
