The real "astroturf" that is used on athletic fields is very expensive. It sounds like you want the rubber backed material that you often see on people's patios and front porches. This is widely available at almost every home improvement warehouse and carpet retailer.

I know for a fact that Lowe's carries this material. It is not very expensive and is sold by the running foot. Best advice is to measure your room and visit or call the nearest store. For what it is worth, I am sure that Home Depot also carries it.

ring around floor covering places may have the end of rolls going cheap. Hard ware or handy- man places have a supply for patios other source is boat fitters they may have off cuts.It is sold in rolls so a small long piece may not be so pricey and you could cut it into smaller sections for your room. Measure it out to find what you can use and check it out as there are different qualities,appearance and feel......

Try www.craigslist.org in your area or Freecycle.com (or org) in your area. Free sites, no ads and very crowded. People post stuff for free or inexpensice and you can post wanted adds as well.

i know for sure you can buy it from any flooring store or carpet store!but lowes,home depot,and other home improvement have it to!
