i hit my head on the mailbox while gardening and got mad and threw my trowel at the wall. But... it hit the windo! Now there is like a 4 inch tear in its screen (screen leuver type window) with a little bit of dirt around it! I will get in SOOOOO much trouble if my parents see it and its very noticable! what should i do?

you could try to get a needle and thread. try to sew it up. it sounds a little silly, but i think it might work. that's what i'd do if i were in that situation. good luck!

megm3 is on the right track. instead of a needle and thread, use some wire from the screen itself. The fix will be noticeable, so you will have to tell your parents. At lest you will have shown responsibility for your actions, and the repair will keep the bugs out.

LOL sorry that's just so cute! You will have to replace the whole screen, hon. Im sorry. :) Just tell your parents. It will be WORSE if you dont tell them and they find out you did it and were trying to hide it. Good luck

Your parents will be much less mad if you own up to what you have done, and offer to pay for it. Come on, now....be a big girl !

honey as a mom who has a son who never owns up to any of his deeds. your parents will appreciate you being honest and truthfully it won't cost more than $10 to fix.
