He has paper work from the fire marshall even telling him to do it, basicly telling him to clean the attic where there is decaying rodants , feces, and urine everywhere. The worst is the mold, my roommate and I have been sick for 6 months now cause of it and he still wont do anything about it.

I'm a commercial real estate credit analyst, looking to make a little more money on the side. I wanted to start a small business, so I've come up with some that I enjoy doing... ORGANIZING. I live in Naples, FL... where there is A LOT of disposable income. I'd like my service to include organizing closets, garages, and also moving (packing and unpacking to help out the older folk here). I plan to give free estimates to potential clients and feel this will be an easy and fun way to make money... working on my own, with few overhead costs (only supplies and travel) What do you think? If you were a millionaire, would you pay someone $500 to organize your garage? Thanks for you thoughts! :)

I'm moving into a dorm VERY soon and for some reason, I'm not being given any information on whether the beds are Twin or Twin XL. If the bed is just Twin, will it be overly frustrating to have to tuck the excess under the mattress? Will it stay?

I just bought a Maytag double oven range. First use, boiling pot of water with a bit of oil in it, overflows and a little goes in the vents that lead to between the panes of glass on the upper oven door. The drips are visible and i can find no way to access it to clean.... anyone know of a way? or will i have to stare at those stains for the next 10 years? thanks

I've noticed that "fresh" vegetables that I buy in the store are starting to have a unusually long shelf life. I bought some "fresh" broccoli about two weeks ago and forgot about it in my refrigerator. Just today i checked it and its still as green as it was when i bought it. And that not only bothers me but it scares me..how are we supposed to eat "fresh" fruits and vegetables when the stores are spraying them with who knows what to make them keep their color. In Saint Louis, in the summertime we have a market called Soulard where people sell FRESH everything and its stuff they have grown themselves. With me living in the Midwest (saint louis, mo) what are some vegetables, fruits, and herbs i can grow in my backyard so that i can eat FRESH all year long.

My mother passed away in November and I have had little luck in selling the things I wanted to from her house. She was a "collector" and has lots of furniture, china and glassware. No auctioneers, estate sellers or antique dealers are interested. I get the same story from all of them - the antique market is flooded right now and nobody is buying. I know I can't get good prices for her "treasures" at a lawn sale. Any advice on how I should proceed?

I live in an apartment with a nice outside space, but its not permanent. I'll probably move within 1-2 years. So I'd like to be able to take my tree with me. If I put a lemon tree sapling in a pot, would it last? How long before it would bear fruit? What's the best time of year to buy a lemon tree? I live in San Francisco.

I just purchased a 1984 3 level townhouse. The family room has a woodburning fireplace on one wall . The face is all brick. I have no idea whats up the chimney. It does lead all the way to the rooof. I want to remove the brick and somehow seal up the chimney and just put up a regular wall. The end result should be just a room with walls without an opening for the firelace. Also the chimney is not interior at all. Is this possible and if so, How???
