How would I get a splatter of hair dye off of a wall with out damaging the paint. It's about 3 months old.

Since it has been on there for 3 months, there is little chance of getting it all the way off. I have had good luck with the Mr Clean Magic Erasers on getting marks off of walls that I have not been able to get with any cleanser. The harder you rub, you are more apt to remove some paint. Your best bet is to just paint over it. Might have to paint it first with a primer sealer to keep the color from the dye, depending on how dark, from bleeding through the new paint

I agree with the magic eraser idea. That is the only thing that may work. It does get off things like scuff marks and marker and pen that you'd never think you could get off but hair dye might be tougher and require you to rub harder and the paint will come off a little. It's either the eraser or painting again.

Hang something over it. It will wash out of your hair in six weeks, but not off of the wall. Trust me, I've been there, done that.

You can't. Just get the same color of paint and paint over it.
