we currently have aluminum siding. Our windows are wooden, and some have quite a bit of damage.

Which one would save us more money on energy?
Which would improve the value of our home more?
If you were a buyer, would either be a big selling point for you?

We had to turn off our hot water supply to fix a tap and since then the hot water is slow running from the bath tap upstairs. Is there something we can do to restore it ourselves without paying hefty plumbing bills. We have an upstairs water tank and someone advised us to bang the pipes until it clears. All the other hot water taps running fine.

What could be the problem with my wallboard heater; it just quit working. It was working good for most of the winter. It is wired straight into the breaker box on a circuit by itself; and the breaker isnt throwed because i checked it.

Our cabinets are nice but are dirty. We moved into our house and they were like this, we tried a million and one ways to clean them but the wood only warps. The cost of refacing is too much and are wondering if we could paint them...we want them to be the same light wood look, is this possible and how do we do it and what would we use, all answers welcome! Thanks!

My neighbors play basketball and their driveway is right on the side of my house. How can I lessen the noise of the bouncing basketball from coming into my home? I can hear it through out the house, whether in the basement, first or second floors. The easiest and most inexpensive way would be ideal.

Thanks!

This happens every time that person is frustrated, or feels insecure starts shouting, calling names, and uses derogatory foul language, I don't respond walk away and plug my ears so the foul words are not audible. The person follows me and starts hitting and kicking biting, then states I made them do it. I want that stopped. What do I do.
