My neighbors play basketball and their driveway is right on the side of my house. How can I lessen the noise of the bouncing basketball from coming into my home? I can hear it through out the house, whether in the basement, first or second floors. The easiest and most inexpensive way would be ideal.

Thanks!

you could ask them to STOP IT! or plant Leland Cyprus. or get insulated windows or buy a white noise machine for every room in your house which will cost you a bit.

The easiest and most inexpensive way would be to take down the hoop so they can't play anymore, lol. Seriously though, you can't really do anything with that because the sound will escape through even the tiniest holes. Maybe wearing earplugs or something will help.

Have insulation blown in the outside walls, it will also help with the heating and AC bills. You can also put in double or triple pain windows, these will again help with the noise and decrease your utility bills. It might be cheaper just to back your car into the basketball goal. lol
