Yes, depending on how it is made. If the springs are clipped or hand tied, all of that jumping loosens the connectors. Moreover, if your mattress and box springs are resting on what is known in the industry as a Hollywood frame, the bolts holding the frame together loosen over time with jumping to cause them to squeak. At least there is a fix for the frame. A little WD-40 sprayed at the joints where the fastener bolts are should solve the problem. But, on the mattress and box spring, once you develop the squeaking there is almost no way short of destroying the mattress to stop it. That being said, some manufacturers warrant against squeaking.
