Getting spring fever, and planning my strategy. I know you can't plant tomatoes in the same area year after year, but I have ran out of space. Can I go every third year or do I need to make my garden bigger? Thanks!

The supports that hold the strings are wooden and the tension has warped them so I can no longer get it in tune. The wood is beautiful and I was wondering if something else could be made from it? I seen an aquarium put in one after it was gutted but I already have an aquarium in my wall and would like some cool ideas for something else. It's been in the family so I really don't want to get rid of it, but as it sits, its useless. Thanks!

I have a gas boiler and it's working fine and heating up the water for the storage tank. The pump also appears to be working ( can feel the whirring on the touch) Problem is the radiators are all cold, so what can be the problem?

Step by step instructions, or links to USEFUL websites much appreciated. Best answer goes to the first one that actually gets my tap to stop dripping.

All I can say for definate is that it is NOT a problem with the washer, as that's solid metal.

This morning, the water from the "hot" tap was ice cold. I got ready for work anyway (it is NOT fun washing your hair in icy water!!), and before I left, I went to brush my teeth, and lo and behold, there was hot water! I returned from work (I drive a school bus) did dishes, etc, with hot water. Then on my return from the afternoon shift, icy cold water again. I heated water up to use, and after running it awhile, again, there is hot water. Anyone have any clue what could be causing this?
I have an electric water heater that is probably around 10 years old.

I have bought condo convertion with a tenant already with a 6 month lease. The condo didnt change the carpet before they moved in or before giving the apartment to me. It's an 2-2 apartment. I don't really know the condition of the carpet before the tenant received the apartment. I did the walk through and I saw the stains. I was told by them the have to children that were the ones who stained the carpet. They stain with paints. I have already hired a profecional cleaner and the stains didn't go away. Can I use their deposit to cover the carpet?

Everything was going just fine and then they started to look droopy which has progressively gotten worse. I have tried to limit watering thinking i might have overwatered, no help. I have given them light light fertilizer to help stimulate roots but no. I have misted the tops to add moisture and have covered them with plastic bags to retain humidity. If anyone can suggest anything else i would greatly appreciate it. I don't want to have to start over eventhough i have plenty of time before spring...

I woke up this morning to the two bedroom's, bathroom, and hallway(that joins the two bedrooms) having no electricity. I checked the fuses and they are fine. Everything else works fine. I'm not an electrician(of course) but if someone can steer me in the right direction I can fix it myself. I have absolutely no funds to call in an electrician.

Thankyou

Jamie

Is it true that you should wait 2 years before burning certain wood such as Ash? Someone said that even then, Ash is not the best wood to use on a fire. I have a wood-burning stove. Will the Ash be very smokey and not give off much heat even when seasoned?

Thank you in advance for the consideration to answer my burning question !

With my coffee-maker, the filters tend to fold inward when you shut the door. Therefore, the large portion of dropping hot water does not get directed through the coffee grounds. The coffee ends up weak. How do you prevent this? There must be some simple trick, right?
