When is the best time to spread weed and feed? I can already see some weeds beginning to grow. I live in eastern NC.

go to Scotts.com they have friendly e-mails they send you when it's time to do things to your lawn. just sign-up it's free. you don't have to use their products to get the info. you just put your zone into the system and the reminders come when it's right for your area

I disagree with the first two answers. Actually the best time to weed and feed is fall. The reason why fall is the best time is because you want to weaken the weeds before winter. That will help the winter cold help kill the weeds off. It also helps prevent the weeds from dropping seeds in the fall that will sprout up next spring. If you didn't use weed and feed in the fall, the earlier you can do it in spring the better. During summer it is best to only spot spray for weeds so you don't hurt your grass.

you should have did it in the fall October is good go north south then east west so you get it all
