I recently painted my room pink, not a light pink but a medium/dark pink. I want a new bedroom comforter set but I don't want it to be pink that would just be to much pink I wanted black and white but everything I see looks old-ladyish.. I want a teenish/20 something year old looking, I want something nice, any suggestions?

Thank you.

I have a modern/contemporary taste. The wallpaper in my new homes guest 1/2 bathroom looks like Easter and the dining room wallpaper is flowers...not my style. I hear that wallpaper removal is one heck of a chore and can be tedious so I'm scared to venture in that direction. I don't want to paint over it. So I didn't know if it's possible to apply floor laminate to walls? Any other suggestions? Thanks~!

I think I clogged my toilet because I used paper towels to clean up after my puppy but since she goes so much I didn't flush until several were in there and now it's clogged. After awhile the water goes down some, and I try using the plunger but it doesn't seem to work, I'll try flushing again and the water comes all the way up again, etc. Anyone that can help?

why is this?

Also could people who are real familiar with all this stuff, what are the different sprays people use in their garden?
I know: herbacides (24d and MSMA)
Insecticides (catelpillars, beetles, bugs)
Fungicides (for treating mold, mildew)
Ferlitilzers ( are liquid forms better?)

My 14 yearold Maytag top loading washing machinehas started to make a loud sortof squealing sound. It just started to do this. I think the noise started when the machine was full of water and started the aggitator. I stoped it took the clothes out and turned it back on, that made no differance. I put it on spin mode that made no differance.

ANY SUGGESTIONS

I live on a busy street and I was thinking about planting a hedgerow close to the road to restrict noise. Has anyone out there done this before? If so, did it work? What kind of hedges work best?

I planted around 200-300 tulip bulbs last fall in my back yard, mostly in areas that I have groundcover such as English ivy. I was wanting to know if I could pull these bulbs up after a few weeks when the bloom goes away and store them in a tupperware container until planting them again until the next fall.
I just really hate the way the foliage looks sticking up with no blooms anymore and turning yellowish.
Any advice or recommendations about this??

I am looking for a bag that will zipper shut, can be tossed in the washer and dryer and will allow detergent, water and heat to pass through it, so I guess it needs to be some sort of mesh like material. I want to use it to wash my baby's socks. This way I can toss them into this bag and not have to worry about the "sock monster" eating them when I wash clothes. Does anyone know what I am describing, what it's called and/or where I can find one?

is it ok if you clean a toilet with bleach at the same time as someone else cleans a mirror with windex in a small room with the door open. i heard that mixing amonia with bleach would release a toxic gas adn i wanted to now if using the 2 chemicals at the same time would cause this reaction. also would it create enough polllutants to effect you.

My daughter just had her gas bill and it was £154.86 for 3 months during that time she was away for 3 weeks. she only has a small flat and the gas is only used for heatting (her flat is always cold) and water she is at collage full time so isn't useing it during the day. We have the same supplier and are home all day with heatting on all the time we also use gas for cooking. our bill was half of what her bill was.
Is it possable someone has either tapped into her supply before she moved there or there is a leak? gas saftey check has been done yearly from landlord.

Can I wire the ceiling fan off the can light so they both turn on together? I have about 6 total outlets/lights on circut.
