Try to picture these dimensions, and please give me ideas...My living room and family room connect (with an archway inbetween) and the rooms are both incredibly narrow and small. The family room connects with the kitchen/breakfast area which is hardwood flooring, and the LR/DR is all carpeting. There is little wall space due to windows and a fireplace....I can't seem to do anything with these spaces - no matter how I arrange furniture, I can't get a comfortable seating area with a TV in either room without it looking strange. I'm at the point where almost everything is removed from both rooms and I'm staring at empty space. Any design ideas from professionals or people who know what they're talking about when it comes to decorating is needed - please don't send links because I've googled this topic to death! Thanks!

Is there special paint needed? I'm assuming special special rollers...I'll be painted it with rollers. But what kinds of variables do I need to consider.

The hour hand usually drops at about the 2 or 3 o'clock position. It's usually o.k. until I try to wind the clock. Then the little vibrations, or whatever, will cause the hand to drop, sometimes all the way down to the 6! If anyone has any knowledge of this sort of thing, I certainly would appreciate some pointers.

I've heard that you can wear jeans twice and then wash them and shirts once.
I've also heard the other way around..

I just really would like to minimize laundry since I'm lazy. ^^;

Thanks in advanced!

I have tried stuff like "Preen" , but it never really worked very good and it was expensive too, so i never really put it down much. But I get so many weeds as well, which i have to go back and spray with round up or pull them.
My neighbor says she puts down the basic ingrediant called "Treflan" and spreads this small granular product over the areas in her beds and she does not ever get ANY weeds. She also says that it last for over a year.
Anybody know about this?

Last Spring I killed my mostly broadleaf weed lawn with Round up weed killer . And waited for 10 days for it to completely brown. Afterwards I put down fescue grass seed and starter fertilizer and lucky for me it rained every other day for atleast 2 weeks afterwards.
but to my disappointment half of the stuff that came up was it looked like crab or dallas grass (maybe dallas grass is a type of crab grass) . But anyway, I stupid me realized that i killed the existing weeds in my yard but not the crabgrass which was to come up in May and June. So , I was debating if I should have appled MSMA to kill the crabgrass in August. I did not because I thought that it was getting close to fall by then and it would go away soon enough
So I will try again this year. Can anybody telll me what I did wrong last year. Maybe I should not have done this project in the Spring and made sure I had put down crab grass preventer instead. But I did not know about that then. and done in fall

hey there, im in my early 20s and i just moved into an apt and my room walls are sooo boring.
i'm really bad at decorating and creativity, so if u guys can give me good cheap ideas i'd appreciate it.
a little about me: I'm a HUGE music buff...i listen to everything from 2pac to the white stripes...
i also love indie movies.
i hate bright and pastel colors! i really like black and white, red, and bold colors. my bedding is a deep red color so i was thinking of something that can play on that.
i dunno, i dont really like the typical meaningless art paintings ppl throw up on their walls, so i want something to reflect me, give me ideas on how to do that!! and i dont want to tape posters on my wall bc im no longer in college!

i was going to get album frames and order posters of my fave artists/bands album covers and place them in the frames- but is that tacky? and would it be weird to have rappers and rock band posters on the same wall?
