This might be the same answer but I looked this up for you. I ope you try it...

Removing permanent marker from a white board is actually easier than you think. No sprays are even needed.

Steps
Scribble a dry-erase marker all over the permanent marks. Make sure you cover all of the marks.
Let the marks sit for five to ten minutes.
Erase the marks away with a dry-erase eraser.

Tips
This even works on some types of plastics, but not all!
The color of the dry-erase marker does not matter.
You may have to draw over and erase more than once.

Warnings
Do not spray any sprays onto the eraser or paper towel. This will make the problem even worse.
Sometimes the marks will not be completely erased.

Things You'll Need
A dry-erase white board marker.
A white board eraser.

Best thing to take pen and marker off things like whiteboards and plastic is Rubbing alcohol. Go to your medicine cabinet or go to any local pharmacy or supermarket and buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol. And i mean RUBBING alcohol which is different from drinkable alcohol. It comes in a clear bottle that will say "rubbing alcohol." Pour some on a papertowel and gently rub the marker off the white board. That should remove the marker. If it doesnt (which i bet it will if you rub a few times) then try the new Magic eraser by Mr clean sold in pharmacies.
After using the alcohol remember to then wash off the board with regular soap and water to remove any residue from the alcohol.

Go with what Issac said to do, he answered exactly what I was going to advise. I once wrote on a white board at work with what I thought was a dry erase marker, when I noticed my mistake, I freaked out and a co-worker showed me that writing over it with another dry erase marker would take it off. It really works!

Write over the sharpie with a dry erase marker, you may have to rub back and forth a bit but it will work.

Try plain old rubbing alcohol... This takes ink out of anything. You could use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers but that'll cost you more than alcohol... which you most likely already have in your medecine cabinet or can buy for a buck at the dollar store.
