I recently painted my room pink, not a light pink but a medium/dark pink. I want a new bedroom comforter set but I don't want it to be pink that would just be to much pink I wanted black and white but everything I see looks old-ladyish.. I want a teenish/20 something year old looking, I want something nice, any suggestions?

My 16 year old daughter juat painted her room a dark pink and her comforter is all black and she broke it up with light pink pillows. Check out Amazon. com for comforters thats where we got hers,She also got black carpets and she is thrilled with the look.

Depends on the look you are going for:
For a groovy, Peter Max "60s" style, get a psychadelic print with vibrant oranges, yellows, and white in either campy flowers or paisleys. Get a huge shaggy area rug next to the bed with matching shaggy pillows. Get a lava lamp, etc.
For a modern look: spirals or dots in contrasting color and bright solid color accessories like neon green, lavender, blue. Get a white "globe" light to hang (big fabric ball, white color.
For Parisienne look: get black and white, and use some black wrought iron looking accessories.
For conservative look: bright yellow with pretty pattern on it, such as flower, butterfly, fun pattern and dress it up with pillows and white accesories.
For formal look: white matellese comforter, white area rug, natural wood accessories.

My roommate has pink walls and she did her whole room in Black and white. Her Bedding is Black and white Zebra. All her accessories are black,white, or pink. All the furniture is black. It looks amazing. I Highly reccomend it.

try chocolate brown, it's a nice color to mix with pink or dark grey

use an opposite color on the color wheel. browns and tans would look great!!!
