How many times a month does he cut and trim? Does he use your lawn mower or supply his own and buy the fuel?
If it is at least 4 times and he supplies the equipment and fuel the price is about right.

how often does he cut it. 18 by 12 would be 15 dollars for one cut. 10 dollars for the 30 by five. 25 once aweek would be a hundred dollars a month.

How much work does he do for you and how often? Does he fertilize and feed the lawn as well as cut it? Pull weeds and plant healthy shrubs, etc. You decide.
