I have heard that Carbon Monoxide is very heavy and so the detector should be placed near the floor. Does anyone know if that is true? I have a 8 month old baby and need to know!

My grandmother lives in a nursing home and I do her laundry weekly. It is getting where the smell is getting really bad even after washing them. My clothes dryer is also getting an odor or maybe my imagination. Is there anything I can add to my wash to help combat the odor?

It's a balcony door, the glass panel will be around 3ft by 1.5ft. Clear, non patterned. The glass does have some kind of shatterproof plastic inside it. Hope that's enough detail

While moving our freezer from the garage to the basement we noticed a terrible odor coming from the back of it on the metal. We think maybe a mouse or something fell behind it and died. I scrubbed the area and it still reeks! Does anyone know how to get rid of the smell....not just cover it up?

I'm a teacher and I go through staplers like nobody's business. The kids get a staple jammed in there and for the life of me I can't figure out a way to dislodge it. I've got 6 staplers in the stapler ICU. Any good advice?

It drips into a 2 1/2 gallon bucket and fills about once a month but it drives me nuts. Who is responsible for the meter? The utility company or me? Does it need to be replaced if it leaks water or is there just a small part on it I can replace? My house is circa 1905 in Ohio. The meter looks fairly new, however.

I live in a condo here in San Diego, and all the little old ladies with their lap dogs come and use my condos lawn to relieve their dogs. Don't get me wrong, I was raised with dogs as pets, and I love all of them...however, my grass looks like **** (litterally) and we pay to maintain the landscapeing.
It's a pretty good sized lawn. Any suggestions???
Thanks ahead of time for you help,
Geoff

Last night I swear I thought it or they were going to come through the bathroom wall. Lately there's an unbelievable sewer smell coming up from under the house. What is that loud grunting sound about? I think they may be tearing up pipes or something under there. The smell is real bad. I heard loud scratching right under the tub and walls with that scary sound. What can I do? I don't believe in trapping and killing animals.

It's about six months old. I noticed about a month ago that there was an odd musty smell throughout the first floor of the house that is permeating from the garbage disposal. The disposal does have a cap which I never really used, I just put it under the sink until it started smelling recently.

How can I correct and prevent this nasty odor? Thank you.
