I have my deeds that show the Council own the boundary, they let it to a charity trust( a car park for a local village hall), and the deeds are silent on maintenance. They admit ownership but say there is no budget to repair it. My garden is now wide open to a car park, and I feel very insecure and a lack of privacy. How can I ensure they take on their responsibility by actually mending/replacing it. They say they will look into it......

I really don't know much about gardening and I'm just wondering if I can take a cutting of a rosemary plant and get it to grow? I know you can do this with certain types of plants but I can't remember the rule.

You can't see the black film until you wipe it with a paper towel, and when the film gets on something like a spatula it stays on there. I also believe this black film is on areas of our sink. What is this film and how do you get rid of it? We use a regular electric oven. Thanks.

I've never try to do it before and as a interior decorator, I really have this question in mind to help me for future projects.
If it is possible let me know the kind of paint you can use and if the paint can stay long. Thanks!

I am curious about how often people usually keep their carpeting in their house. I know some people keep their carpet until it has a few stains and some people keep their carpet until it has spots all over, 'traffic lines', etc.

How long do people usually keep their carpet before they replace it? How many years would you figure?

It says dry clean only but the coat is a size too large and I'd like it to shrink. It was a present. It also has a lining if that makes any difference.

I either got it from IKEA or one of the home improvement stores like Lowes or Home Depot. I'd like to know which plant this is so I can learn about what its needs are and such.

Thanks!
