Even if it's semi permanent,it is there to stay. The peroxide in it will penetrate almost any surface.Sorry.If the stain in the carpet is small enough, you can cut out the fibers that have been stained with a pair of manicuring scissors. The counter top is permanently stained.

try white spirit, for the counter tops and for the carpet , pour some white wine over the stain then blot with kitchen roll , normally if you spill red wine on carpet´s or clothes, the red wine lift´s it out . if that fail´s try washing the carpet with some of your own shampoo, just remember that once you wash a stain from a carpet it´s likely to show up again as the carpet surface under the carpet takes longer to dry . so once you have washed the carpet & the stain has been removed lay a towel where you removed the stain with a heavy object on top so this will help any water to be absorbed, then with a damp cloth wipe over again . make sure the carpet dry´s with natural air. PS yes I know we are talking about dye but the white wine should take your dye stain out

I don't know about carpets, but I put a tiny spot of liquid bleach on dye on the counter, let it set a while, then wipe away the excess bleach and it will come out. It might take two or three applications though.
That hair dye is really hard to get out. I've even seen stains at the beauty salon!

I tried everything including a professional to get it out of my carpet. Nothing worked. It didn't even really lighten any.

On counter tops it depends on how porous the counter top is. Try a foaming cleaner like Dow bathroom cleaner.

regardless of if or not any situation will eliminate it relies upon on how pourous the exterior is. The deeper the dye ought to sink into the exterior the extra troublesome to eliminate. a super form of the time stains pop out suited in case you have something that reactivates the dried maintains to be that are trapped interior the pores or fibers. I extremely have used prevalent WD-40 effectively to get stains out of many surfaces and outfits. i don't artwork for his or her organisation yet have used the product for many stuff over the final 2 many years or so. yet another situation to attempt is acetone, (fingernail polish remover). try this on small factors at a time. those oxy-sparkling products seem to artwork on many stains too. yet another situation that gets alot of tense stains out of issues is motor oil. the belief is that the petroleum products seem to 'reactivate' the staining medium permitting it to be washed out with generic skill. while utilizing products like those it extremely is a good theory to positioned on cleansing gloves or surgical gloves to guard your epidermis. Getting it on you will possibly not have lots of an result yet prolonged exposure could be an irritant as with every cleansing chemical. when I submitted I additionally seen "the Works" an exceptionally good air purifier which you may desire to purchase at many shops which includes many greenback sort form shops like the 'greenback prevalent' around this area. That stuff cleans a number of the worst stains i've got seen.
