It's a balcony door, the glass panel will be around 3ft by 1.5ft. Clear, non patterned. The glass does have some kind of shatterproof plastic inside it. Hope that's enough detail

That sounds kind of small. Are you sure it wasn't twice as high? Or is it just a small window not a full length panel?

Those big glass panels have to be shatterproof so that runs up the cost. We had one broken a couple of years ago when our neighbor's kid was practicing batting with pebbles. Luckily it was in a door so it wasn't gigantic. It cost $35 for the panel that I put in myself. [The kid worked off the cost by doing yard work by the hour.]

it must be a single door with true divided lite glass . also is sounds like it is insulated tempered glass which is basically code . the glass light , if it can be removed individuslly would cost approx 95.00 , the labor approx 200.00
