I have never heard where it is reported that someone's eyes just could not see colour. I am just curious. Is it possible for this to happen at all?

Last nite I sat down on the toilet. The next thing I know I'm on the floor with horrendus pain in both neck and head. There is only 2 or 3 feet from the toilet to the concrete wall. I reached up and there was this huge knot on both forehead and scalp. It bruised immeadiatly. I looked in the mirror and my pupils were the size of needle point. I was extremely light headed. I threw up several times. The pain was awful in both head & neck. This morning the bruising was obivous and the knot seemed bigger & my pupils were huge. I have no health insurance so if I'm just being a baby or over reacting then I'd to know before I spend thousands of dollars. Maybe I should also mention that I have a herniated disk in my neck. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. I've given you all the info I can. Oh, I haven't any kind of appatite, I threw up a total of 5 days with the last tine being around 5am but I've had constant nausea since the ordeal.

I was playing football and I think I pulled it real hard when tackeling my friend. It hurt bad, but I let it go through the night. It is still slightly swollen. The Weird thing is I can bend it fine. Its just when pressure is applied I feel pain at my top joint of the pinky. If I apply pressure at the middle of the finger or the bottom(closest tword my hand it dosent hurt at all.

Do you think its broken, or just sprained(if you can do it to a pinky)
I couldnt pick up a vollyball today at school because of the pain at the tip.

Please answer.

Ps: I have a hockey game this friday. Should I just try and wrap it up and play. Im on my schools Varsity team and I start...(center) :)

I have flat feet and I have always had trouble with them. I have been having a continuous problem with my ankles. When I am on my feet for at least 3 hours at time my ankles hurt so bad I could hardly stand. It hurts at my joint under my inner ankles. They dont bruise and they only get a little swollen but I have to stand on my feet for 8 hours a day in agony. I have tried different kinds of shoes and nothing works. The pain is sooo terrible its amazing I can even walk. When I sit down for a while or I come home and rest then stand up after being on them so long the pain is even stronger. I tore my ACL when I was 14 years old (now 20) and my doctor told me that I have really lose joints. Could this be why. They hurt more and more each day. What could this be? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A couple of years ago I jumped and did a big reach with my right arm to reach a frisbe in a tree. My shoulder was really painful for quite a while, I rested it and eventually seemed ok. Recently I was doing some vigourous throwing of bags and scrubbing!and the shoulder, and upper arm are giving me trouble again.
I did take an Aleve one night, as this is supposed to reduce inflamation - and it was somewhat improved the next day. Keep meaning to make time to go to the doc, but would prefer to take/use something natural if possible.
Anyone with similar experience out there?
(A friend suggested too much use of the computer mouse won't help!)

I had an arm cast on for 4-5 weeks because I broke my radius bone in my wrist. Anyway, when the doctors took off my arm cast they booked me an appointment with a physiotherapist. I heard they only help movement in the arm that was affected by damage, but my arm/wrist moves alright.. is it essential to visit a physiotherapist or can I just skip it? Will it affect anything?

I tripped up the curb 10 days ago and as I fell I put my hands down on the floor just as a reaction. My wrist has been hurting since then, not really bad, just little twinges, and it hurts to put pressure on it to open a door or push myself up off a chair and so on.
I know time will heal, and its not a real problem, but is there anything that will help it heal a little faster?
