I know this doesn't sound too possible, but here we go. I have had this pulled muscle that has been bothering me all year. I've been playing basketball in a Church league and I hurt it early in the season. It's right in my hip. It hurts after every game and every practice, and it usually starts hurting halfway through the game or practice. It stops hurting the next day until I start playing again for a while. Last night I put heat a heat pad on it for 2 hours and then put 3 layers of that muscle pain healing stuff on before I went to bed. I need my muscle to be healed by tomorrow because I have Junior Varsity Basketball Tryouts, and I have to be at 100% to even make the team. Can anyone tell me what I could do to heal it before then, or at least reduce the pain while I play. Thanks alot, and God Bless!

It is Sunday afternoon where I am. My husband sliced his hand pretty badly on a mandolin. He hasn't had a tetanus shot in 20 years or so. Tomorrow is a really busy day. Can we wait until Tuesday?

I need to write something funny on their cast.

I was thinking "Whats better than winning gold in the paralympics? Having Legs" but this might offend some people.

Anyone got any ideas?

For about a month now after I practice kicking field goals my knee hurts. Its sometimes so bad that I can't kick with my full force when I am practicing. I have tried stretching and laying off it, but it won't seem to go away. The pain seems to be located on my right leg just to the left of the kneecap. I'm not quite sure, but it feels like a blood vessel or something is there. The pain seems to be fiercest when my knee locks, such as immidiately after my kick on the follow through. If anyone can tell me whats wrong and how to deal with it I'd be very happy.

And when I get a cast & crutches I'm going to be a little less...mobile. I can't sit still and I think I'll a very hard time carry my book bag switching classes every 52 minutes, crowded halls, lunch trays, bus rides, stumbling, ect. Any suggestions, on how to make this upcoming month easier?

I've heard it said that when someone jumpes off a building, "it's actually the impact that kills them."
What does that mean? Doesn't "impact" mean the moment the person hits the ground???
Of course a person would die as soon as they hit the ground. Isn't that obvious???
I know they cant die on the way down, otherwise wouldn't bungee jump. So it can't mean that. So what does it mean?

So im a really competitive figure skater and skate anywhere from an hour to 3 hours a day. One Thursday I was walking around the rink with my skates on and as I stepped onto my right foot it was a horrible pain from the back of my ankle. It didnt swell, bruise, or get tender. But when im walking it feels like a sprain. What could it be? I need help because I have been skating on it still just dealing with the pain cus I have tests coming up that I need to be ready for!!!!

Okay, I was walking yesterday and I stubbed my pinkie toe. Today I tripped over a pair of my dad's heavy work boots. Then just now I noticed my pinkie toenail was white so I touched it and it's broken and only hanging on by one side. First, should I use toenail clippers to snip what's hanging off now completely off? And second, will my nail grow back? It's not an infection or toe fungus at all, it was fine yesterday and now it's not. I guess I must have really hurt it when I stubbed my toe. So should it probably grow back? I'm just a little freaked out, I've never broken a nail practically off and it's grossing me out. Only serious responses please (no jokes). Thanks a bunch.
