Injuries - November 2006

I've gone to get X-rays, but the docter says there's nothing wrong with me. But I'm sure there is something wrong. The bone looks deformed and when I finish any physical activities I have trouble balancing and have extreme pain when walking. I've shown some different people what it looks like, and they agree it looks really deformed. On top of that, the bone thats like a ball, the one that's connected to the big toe, is also really painful. Because of this my entire leg is aching with pain, and I've had to overload on Ibeprofane. Can someone please tell me what's wrong?

Lower lumbar problem affects the hip and pain down to the knee, when I sit down or stand for right around 30 to 40 min almost feels like a pinched nerve, driving for a distance maybe 20 min it feels the worse, and when I get out my hip seems stiff and as I start to walk it gets loose again. MRI shows little to nothing.

I am in India and a friend had a motorcycle accident- the hospital sent him him back to hotel with an elastic girdle type thing around his mid-section and a sling for his arm. From the x-rays, it doesn't appear to have been re-set. Is this normal? Will the bones just find each other as they heal or will they heal crooked?

ok on sunday i had heavy chips & pizza & fried chicked from a take away. from monday i stomach had been quiet bad, but now it eased away, but still i get pain.

i feel weak sometime and my gas is different (if u know wat i mean)

Was at home last night, threw something across the room, after the object was thrown my handf carried on moving and hit my thumb onto the back of the sofa, which is a hard object. At first it hurt badly and i couldnt use it at all, but still had the feeling in it so dont think it is broken. I put some icecubes in a blue Jay cloth and pressed that onto it for a while which helped a little. This morning it is very swollen and very painful and I cant move it without causing more pain. Is it worth bothering a doctor about? Would they be able to do anything? I've only been to one twice before so forgive me for the silly question. I don't want to waste their time.

weeks ago i was randomly rotating my eyes to the very left of me and I heard something crack, it hurt alot and i just slept on it hinkin whatever its a crack ive probably had many of those before..I then took pics after and it seemed as if my right eye were turned in a little and pushed in..i went to my doc and she said yea, it did but a few milimeters away..i was very shocked because this NEVER happened to me..i went to an optomologist and she told me to wear my eye glasses every second where my other eye docs told me only for the tv. and computer..everytime I take pics now and compare them to the ones i had two months ago, they look different..ive been waiting and waiting every day and it has been an opsession and my eyes wont go back to normal..my parents dont want to take me to another optomologist because they said the insurance wont pay again..what do I do?? I really dont want to deal with this..im just wishing one day i can wake up with my old eyes back..please pray for me!

Ok i stepped on one of my kids toys tonight and twisted my ankle and now my whole foot even my toes are swollen my ankle and my foot and toes are black and when this happen i heard and felt 2 snaps and i cant put any weight on it ,,, How likely is to be broken? I know this isnt a doctors offices or Hospital but im just wondering if anyone has ever broke there ankle before and if you have did you hear anything or feel anything snap,,, your opion will be greatley apperacated :)

i m young, 14. for years, my knees have hurt off and on. i used to be a gymnasts so that did put a lot of pressure on my knees. now i run and play soccer. my knees also hyperextend (maybe about 15-30 degrees farther then normal). my track trainer said that this causes my knee joints to crush my tendons, which is probably why my knees hurt. sometimes they hurt even when i havent done any sports that day. the pain is mainly under and bellow my knee cap. is it the hyperextending that causes this pain? what can i do to help it? email me if u want any other details. thnx

te my eyes normally as a normal person would, i feel as if it not cracked or anything just feel weird like i strecthed it ..before i used to rotate my eyes, that feeling would never happen to me...and now without my glasses on i have these only headaches that really put pressure on my head..i also feel as if my eyes arent the same as before or not as aligned...can anyone help me out here..

It was itchy so I rubbed it. I think I might have rubbed it too hard. It's got like a mass of fluid around the iris (on the white part) and it feels as if there's something in it. Will it go away on its own?

I took a cheesegrater to my thigh with powerful vigor and now I am bleeding quite badly. With the lacerations I have received... what sort of medical stuff should I do to stop the bleed? wraps? The like? Well, I wont go to the hospital because they will know what I did to myself, but I just wanted to see what it would do to me. It's a cheesegrater, so I didnt think it would be a MEgrater... I went to a deftones concert last night and ever since then I haven't been able to hear. It was the first concert I've ever been to. I didn't realize how incredibly loud it was going to be. Everything sound is muffled. I'm sure it's only temporary but is there anything I can do to speed up the process of getting my hearing back.

i was bowling yesterday and fell in the lane on my elbow... (i was trying to save a bowling ball). i woke up today and my arms hurts... it feels like there is liquid inside and it's turned into a bump. is it pus filled? blood filled? or some other liquid... or could it be something else?

Today at school, I was walking to my bus and I felt something bite me and it itched/stung. When I got to the bus I sat and looked at it and it looked like a mosquito bite. So I scratched till it didn't itch anymore and left it alone. It's like 10 now, and my ankle is swollen on that spot and it really hurts when I touch it or move my ankle. =[

My thumb started hurting yesterday (really sensitive) and this morning i woke up and i had a shooting pain in my thumb as well as my arm. It actually causes me to jerk my arm. i also get a numb tingly feeling in my thumb and arm. I dont work with my hands and i'm only 21 so i don't know what it could be. My 9 mo. old son is quite heavy and i always hold him with this arm, do you think that could be causing this? Any input appreciated!

This morning I slipped on the road on some ice and landed really hard on my knee. I almost passed out from the pain but I was able to get up and go to school (barely). i took some bayer for the pain, but now the knee is like a prune..huge and purple and it hurts! what should I do? Why do paper cuts hurt so much.

I mean, compared to a deeper, wider, bloodier cut, it seems that a paper cut hurts more, and takes longer to heal.

ating my eyes to the very left of me and I heard something crack, it hurt alot after but I slept on it thinkin it nothing happened i just probably rotated it to hard...after I woke up and I took pics I felt as if my eye were pushed in and the shape doesnt look as it does before from my other pics..it looks like its pushed in or something ..and my left side of my face feels really pulled and theres alot of pressure on it..I went to my doc. the first week of the incident and she said it does look like it has turned in from when I saw u but its not very noticable..and she kept tellin me to deal with it other ppl deal with that and that crap just pissed me off..well I went to an optomologist and she did an eye exam and she just told me i need to wear my eye glasses every second..before my other docs. told me that i only have to wear them for computer an tv..ive been waiting every day for them to heal thinkin they will go back to normal and they will go back to normal..but they didnt..
