They may be able to drain it, or remove it, go to a ENT (ear nose and throat specialist. I am 99% sure that they will not put you to sleep, but will numb the area, so it won't hurt much at all, and it will feel much better getting after it is history. Do not squeeze it anymore, that just irritates it, causes infection, and it gets bigger. Good luck.

I recently had a cyst removed and it wasn't as awful as I thought it would be. They will numb the spot while your awake, and you shouldn't feel a thing. It's a fairly quick procedure and the removal process is far better than living with the constant pain and discomfort of the cyst. Get a good referral from a dermatologist. I finally did after 10 years of living with it. I'm glad I did.

actually i had the same thing happen to me. for me they numbed my ear and from the back they cut open my earlobe and took out the cyst and the scar tissue that caused it. it took a couple of stitches to close it up. it took a couple of weeks to heal but it really wasn't that bad. the scares are pretty much gone and i was able to get my ears re pierced a couple of months later.
