Today at school, I was walking to my bus and I felt something bite me and it itched/stung. When I got to the bus I sat and looked at it and it looked like a mosquito bite. So I scratched till it didn't itch anymore and left it alone. It's like 10 now, and my ankle is swollen on that spot and it really hurts when I touch it or move my ankle. =[
I'm not allergic to anything.
What's happening?

Well it's swollen around the bite. My Ankle bone is right above and it hurts when I touch it, but it's not swollen...

I live in Florida. And I've never been stung by a wasp or a bee. It's on my ankle and I was wearing jeans that covered my shoes..

Uh, I went to the doctor today and she was really worried. She thinks it's a spider bite and told me that if it swelled up anymore or got redder/warmer, that I needed to go to the ER immeadieatly. =/

You could be getting an infection from a bug bite or scratch- if the redness or swelling starts to travel up your leg go to the ER. If not, you can probably wait until tomorrow- then call your doctor in the morning- tell his nurse what is going on and go from there. He may just call in an antibiotic cream to the pharmacy for you to pick up or he may want to see you.

I did not read your question right when I answered a minute ago-- if you cannot move your ankle and it is red, warm and swollen, you need to go to the urgent care or er now- you may have a septic joint... better to get it checked out- sorry.

If the redness and swelling is around the bite only- that is normal- it is just the body's natural reaction... put some triple antibiotic ointment on it- thanks for clarifying.

Not knowing where you're located doesn't help but I've seen bees and wasps still active here in New York so I'm going to guess you haven't been bitten, you've been stung. Should get better by tomorrow. If you were to have a severe allergic reaction that would have already have happened. Hope you feel better soon.

It sounds like a spider bite, or you maybe elrugik to ant bites.
Try putting some ice on it, stay off of your feet and then go to a docter as soon as you can and see what they say.
Oh, and do not scratch it!
