I took a cheesegrater to my thigh with powerful vigor and now I am bleeding quite badly. With the lacerations I have received... what sort of medical stuff should I do to stop the bleed? wraps? The like? Well, I wont go to the hospital because they will know what I did to myself, but I just wanted to see what it would do to me. It's a cheesegrater, so I didnt think it would be a MEgrater... Please tell me what to do, OTHER than going to the hospital.

What in the world caused you to want to do that? You should lay on your back and elevate your leg and that should slow the bleeding down tremendously. Soak in warm water after the bleeding stops. Keep gauze on the wound and secure it with medical tape. Also get some bacitracin ointment and keep it on your thigh when it is wrapped.

Clean up the wond and wrap it up in steral gauze clean it every day for a while untill it heals to make sure it doesn't get infected. Best of luck

Don't do this to yourself please.
The bleeding will stop soon, as I don't think you had injured yourself too deeply. However, please clean the wound and wrap it with a clean piece of cloth, best be a sterile bandage.

clean it so it wont get infected and wrapp it tightly and depending on how bad it is then you might have to go to the hospital
