So im a really competitive figure skater and skate anywhere from an hour to 3 hours a day. One Thursday I was walking around the rink with my skates on and as I stepped onto my right foot it was a horrible pain from the back of my ankle. It didnt swell, bruise, or get tender. But when im walking it feels like a sprain. What could it be? I need help because I have been skating on it still just dealing with the pain cus I have tests coming up that I need to be ready for!!!!

You need to get this checked out immediately -- you should at the very least tell your coach! It could be any number of things. Iif it's in the tendon, you may have torn or sprained your Achilles tendon. If it's in the heel of your foot, you may have injured the fascia. You may also have caused a stress fracture in a bone in your foot.

In any case, ignoring it is just about the worst thing you can do if you really plan to continue being a competitive skater. By continuing to walk and skate on it, you may end up turning the injury into a chronic problem that will keep popping up and causing you pain from now until the end of time. GO SEE A DOCTOR and don't delay any longer!

I am surprised you haven't had a doctor see it yet. If you wait too long it could cause lasting damage.
