I think you should go back to your doctor ASAP & get your cast re-done. (An air freshener would help, but only as a quick fix.)
If you've been sweating a lot, the excess moisture may have weakened it. This means that it will give less support to your wrist while it's trying to heal.
In addition, bacteria & fungi have probably started to grow, which would explain the odor.
Be sure to tell your doctor about this problem & ask what alternatives you have.

the reason it stinks is sweat! try putting a little baking soda or baby powder in ur cast! itl soak it up

you should have asked your doctor for the kind of cast you can take off. That way you can take it off, wash underneath, then put it back on.

perfume, and baby powter, the perfume will make it smell really good and the baby powter will absorb all the sweat! good luck!

you can spray perfume or air freshener AROUND your cast
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SPRAY ANYTHING DIRECTLY ON YOUR CAST.
i recommend air freshener since it isnt as quite as strong as perfume.
