I'm being seen by a chiropractor and have been told to avoid laying on my stomach at all, which is hard, i'm used to do doing a lot on my stomach (reading, eating, using the computer, etc). I stopped laying on my stomach completely, even at night, and my back pain has pretty much gone away. I can't find any information about laying on your stomach. Does anyone know why it is bad, or if it really even is that bad?

I have had a broken toe before. I know exactly what it feels like. I jsut stubbed my toe on a chair and it broke. I heard that crack and so did my mom. I was wondering what should I do to help it heal? i dont have the money to go to the doctor. My insurance will pay for an urgent care visit or an emergency room visit but I would rather not go to the ER for a toe, im sure someone would laugh. I am in the health field and i know there isnt much they can do except x-ray it and say yah its broken. So what should I do to help it feel. What supplies do i need? thanks so much for the advice! Angie

I had second degree burns on both of my arms from the elbow down when I was a senior in high school.

It really sucked nutz!!

I had to go the hospital every week so they could scrape dead skin off with a green scrubby thing.

Luckily my burns healed very well so you can't see them too much anymore.

I have small little cuts on the corners of my mouth. I'm not for sure if they came from chapped lips or if I actually cut myself with something. I put neosporin on the corners of my mouth but it doesn't seem to be helping much. Not to mention the cuts reopen when I eat. What can I do to help them heal? Thanks.

I asked the Dr to not give mom Iv promethazine and fentynal via a picc line. She was having seizure type actions when they administered these meds together. She wa paralized on the left side and stayed in the hospital for a month for a urinary infection. We went to the dr. for a stomach ache. This thing turned into a nightmare and mom can't accept what has happened, to paralize her left side, without an explanation. The Dr. Yelled at me in my mothers room. Is this a violation of her rights as a patient?

The cold air hurts it. How long until it is healed? I am already taking an anti-inflammatory medicine daily for an arm problem, but it doesnt seem to keep the swelling down. What else can I do?

What should you do if your eyeball comes out of your head?

Get it put back in, and soon. The longer you remain in this rare condition—known as "globe luxation"—the more strain you'll put on the blood vessels and nerves that connect your eye to the rest of your head. Your luxated globes will also be susceptible to corneal abrasions or inflammation, and the feeling of your eyelids clamped down behind them won't be pleasant.

You should be able to get your eye back in place without serious, long-term damage. The treatment is pretty simple: Doctors apply some topical painkillers, hold back your lashes, and poke your eyeball into its socket by pressing on the white part with gloved fingers. (In some cases, they'll use a simple tool like a bent paperclip to shoehorn it back into place.)
You can also trigger luxation while putting in your contact lenses, or with a particularly violent sneeze. You might even pop your eyeballs by trying to exhale while keeping your nose and mouth closed.
