I imagine it would. I have crushed and displaced disks in my back and my doctor has recommended I not have children to prevent aggravation of my condition.

The labor may be more painful. I would check on getting an epidural. After delivery though there will be less stress on your back so you should have a little less trouble. I hope all goes well for you.

I suppose it could but it's too late to turn back now. I would think that carrying around the weight would be a problem for your back also. Good luck.

YES THIS CAN HINDER YOUR DELIVERY PROCESS AND CAUSE MORE INJURY TO YOUR BACK,HAVE YOU TALKED THIS OVER WITH YOUR DOCTOR , MY FRIEND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND HER SPINAL SURGEON WOULD NOT ALLOW HER VAGINAL BIRTH SO SHE HAD AN C-SECTION. YOU WILL BE ENOUGH PAIN WITH OUT ADDING TO IT.
