I just fell down a few months ago - 7 stitches on the chin. The scar is still there, on my chin the red line jutting out..
Any methods to let the wound heal faster... will it even disappear?

or is there any cream on the market i can use to remove the scar?

Mederma...you can get it at Wal-mart. The faster you try to treat it, the better the results will be. Older scars are harder to lighten.

Vitamin E and collagen (or any product with the two) applied to the scar will diminish it quite a bit but will not totally get rid of it. This is best done when the wound is still healing. It will have an effect on an already healed wound but not to as great an extent.

It may be too late for this, but I am the clumsiest person on the face of the planet so I know my fair share about scars and what nots. My method is pick until it's gone. Sounds gross, and it kind of is, but I never let a scab fully grow. I keep peeling, and applying aloe and neosporin. If it's too late for that, I know there are creams out there that are in drug stores that are said to reduce scarification. Check out Neosporin, I know they have a scar tissue one, and there's an exfoliating face wash out there that's supposed to help too. Oh right! Once the scar is fully healed exfoliate once a week! That will help strip away the dead skin cells and regenerate an even tone! Hope it all works out for you!

Buy a aloe plant and cut a piece off, cut the green part off and apply the clear juice inside on to the scar this is better than anything you can buy and much cheaper, dont buy something with aloe in it as it wont be as effective.

the scar can take a year or more to fade depending on how deep the wound. vitamin e helps to fade away a scar. take a pill, squeeze the thick liquid on to scar and rub it in.

I've always heard and experienced good ol' vitamin E works the best. Get the capsuls...open them and apply liberally. Good luck!
