Let it heal, don't touch it, it will look cool don't worry. I got a nice shinner to on my left eye, and big window fell on it. Its swollen and red. Don't worry give it 5 days will look just like normal.

Vitamin c with bioflavinoids 500 mg 4x daily and Vitamin C cream applied to the bruised area will help. Grapeseed or pycnogenol will be good for the blood vessels and speed healing. Pycnogenol cream is available as well.
Warm (not HOT) packs will help improve circulation and improve healing after swelling has subsided. Good luck!

Ice......lots of ice.
To cover it use makeup . Get a "base make up" with a yellow tone, then apply your regular make up over it. It may not cover it, but it will minimize it.

apply an ice pack for twenty minutes every hour. Have the jerk that did it arrested and charged with assault.
