I injured my back last week and went to the chiro and then to the er. Both feel it is just a pinched nerve and not a disk problem. Was given shot of pain meds and muscle relaxer. Then a rx for percocet, medrol steroids, flexeril and naproxyn. Last time I took these was Saturday night. It is now tuesday morning. I am still in pain, but my biggest problem right now is, I am totally out of it, both my mind and body are completely numb. Its really weird, I can feel pain and such, just feels like i am completely out of my body.

Please tell me someone knows what this is, because I feel like I'm going crazy here.

I just got in a fist fight with a sibling....stupid reasons of course...but anyway. My hands and arms are getting welted and brusing. What do I use to to help prevent brusing? I know cold to help with swelling, but what about the bruises? Or any other advice to get rid of them or cover them up, I have to work tomorrow. Thank you.

okay, I have been lifting weights, running routes on the football field and playing tennis very often this past summer and have had no problems with my back. I played basketball today for the first time in a while and my back is killing me, and I felt fine while playing. Anyone else have this sort of issue?

Ok, one week ago my 7 year old daughter got bit by a dog on her leg, one fang puncture. We ended up in the ER with an infection, which they cleaned up, left the wound open and I clean and dress it every day. My question is in regards to hard muscle. Around the bite sit, there is bruising, the entire size of the bruise is hard, like a calis under the skin. I push, gently, and it's just hard, what could this be?

I tore all the tendons and ligaments when I dislocated my shoulder. Can I re-grow these naturally, or is surgery the only way?

Is there an injury or condition (like a stroke or aneurism) or combination that can very quickly make a person paralyzed and unable to speak, but the brain still works? Kind of like Stephen Hawking, but not so gradual.

I'm just wondering. My 2 year old picked mine up and tried them on, it just got me thinking is this true or just another myth (like if you cross your eyes too much they will stay that way forever)

Had x-rays, nothing broken. Told to rest, ice, etc. Was given an air cast and crutches. Can put some weight on the ankle, but is very swollen across the top of my foot. Today I have a fever of 100 degrees. Could this be caused by the sprain? Or just coincidence? Could this be something serious?
