I had a soccer game yesterday, and somehow I hurt my ankle while playing. It didn't hurt at first, but after a couple of hours I could barely walk on it. I have soccer practice tonight which I will probably skip, but I have tryouts tomorrow for my school. How am I going to be able to do good during tryouts with a hurt ankle? What can I do for it? How long does it take to feel better?

By the way, the same thing happened to me when I was going to tryout out for volleyball ( I hurt my wrist ), so then I didn't really do good. Is this like a sign that I shouldn't play on a team at my school?

for the company responsible for my accident to contact me re: settlement? They called me the day after, I called them back two days later with the information and now I'm waiting on them for an answer as to when I can bring them the information for them to make an offer. How long do I wait before going to a lawyer? Or should I go now? I've never been in this position before and so far I've paid $720 just for damages and injuries. Please, only serious answers, please.

today i had sever back pain and i have an open university exam but i cannot sit in a chair for 3 hours my back is painful, i am concerned that the university will not let me resit the exam, i really want to do it and have passed all my coursework, they are very strict though and might think it is just normal back pain and not that bad, my doctor has given me a sick note, i am a bit apprehensive about telling them as they may say the problem is not that bad, any suggestions what i should do. I really want to resit the exam to get a good job.

What's this? l know you aren't doctors but I was wondering if anyone else ever experienced this. Like my legs, are bothering me. I feel like little bugs or something are crawling on them, but when I look, there's absolutely nothing there. It's very annoying, and irritating, because I keep expecting something to be there but there's nothing. I started noticing this over the weekend so it's not like its been happening forever. But I am wondering if something could be wrong with my legs... That freaks me out, and I guess if I keep feeling like this i'll go to the Dr. I just don't want them to think i'm weird or having some psychological problem. Anyone have this feeling before?

Is this really normal? Every single thing I've read online has stated that I should be feeling a ton of pain and be very unstable. I'm going to see an actual ankle specialist on Tuesday but this guy sounded really grimm about my ankle. He told me I had some torn ligaments and a fracture on the back of my tibia. Right after I twisted in (about 7 days ago) it did hurt and swelled up a lot, then it DID bruise a ton...But now the swelling has gone down a lot. Even right after I did it I could walk on it. Now, I can walk on it fine with no limp or crutches or braces. This completely goes against everything I've read, like I said, about what he said. I would think I should be feeling SOME hurting, but it's more of an irritation. It honestly doesn't hurt much at all. I could see if I NEEDED crutches or something but as of right now I can stand on one foot with nothing else holding me up. What gives? He told me he thinks I was going to need surgery and definitely a cast...I'm a bit skeptical.

I fell the other day thanks to a huge leaf-covered hole, and my wrists absorbed most of the fall (other than my sore bruised butt). The left palm is bruised and a little skinned up but the right wrist is very bruised below the palm and can't rest it on anything. It also has this tingling and tight feeling over the top of the hand off and on. I can lift things with that hand still but anything touching that area is painful and the whole hand feels weak when the tightness kicks in. My mom is a nurse so we usually wait things out but I don't know if i have a compartment syndrome starting up or if something not obvious broke. Has anyone else been stupid rollerblading without a wrist guard and done this? Oh, tylenol isn't stopping the pain either

the bruise is about the size of the palm of a hand. It was caused by a paint mixer that got out of control and hit me in the chest.

If there is any Jehova witnesses online, oh wait a minute I just thought, you guys don't have any pastimes apart from knocking on folks doors, but if there is one here or someone who knows the answer to my question which is.

We all know that Jehova witnesses don't accept blood transfusions, but one of my questions for now is, if you were involved in a bad accident, and in the op theatre the surgeon cut your aorta by accident and you were a rare blood group, and the blood wasn't readaly available, so the surgeons suck up as much of your blood and clean it so that it could be put back into your own body, what would you do in that delema, it's your own blood, will you allow the surgeon / nurse to put your bown blood back into your body to help save your life.
Please answer exactly what you would do regarding your own blood leaving your body and then having the chance to put it back min to you via a plastic tube etc.
