I had some on my neck, read up at the Mayo Clinic (link above) and removed them myself. A little cut, a bandaid for a couple of days, and it was fine.

I did listen to them when they said, don't mess with moles! Be sure it is a skin tag and nothing else. Anything else, you need to go to a doctor.

A skin tag is a piece of skin that grows out beond the rest of your skin. If you have one then all you have to do is "PINCH AND PULL IT OFF." This is what Doctors recomend. It is best to pull them off as soon as you find them. Because it does bleed. So the smaller they are the better and less painful it is to pluck it. There in no extra care needed.

I am very prone to get them on my neck. I check my neck about once a month and pull off those little things as I find them.

It is a soft, skin coloured growth that hangs from the surface of the skin as a thin piece of tissue called a stalk. Its medical name is, ' Acrochordon '. They appear in the folds of the neck, armpits, torso, beneath the breasts or in the genital region.

A skin growth, supposed to be caused by virus, doctor told me it wasn't cancerous and unless it really bugged me it was not necessary to remove it.
