A desk leg was pushed into my achilles tendon and now it hurts slightly when stretched or walking. The pain is minor, and there is no swelling, does that mean I can safely say I did not really injur it? Or can it still be torn?

I've never experienced this before that's why I blame the shoes. I was walking in high heels and then ran a little bit when I got caught in the rain, so I 'm wondering if the impact of my foot hitting the ground could be causing the tingling feeling I still have in the bottom of my right foot? It seriously feels like a slight electric current going up from the area (on bottom of my foot) under my toes straight up to my big toe. It's not painful, just an odd feeling. Will this go away soon? Is it harmless?
Please note that I do not have any diseases or problems, and am not on medications, so all of that is ruled out.
PLEASE HELP!

in 2002, i had a severe pain in my tail bone area(near the buttocks crack) which later on turned into an internal boil and later got burst. the same problem is recurring now(oct 2006). i think it is due to long sitting hours while studying and overweight.
im presently on antibiotics and skin cream 'soframycin'.

1. why does this problem occurs?
2. what all preventions and precautions should i take so that the same problem does not occurs?
3. what is the correct medication?

Whenever pressure is applied to my foot (pressing in the area on bottom of my foot underneath the toes), I feel like an electrical current goes from that area in the middle part of the sole of my foot to the big toe, making it tingle. Sometimes I feel a stretching in the back of my calf muscle, but no pain at all anywhere. What is causing this? Can a chiropracter help (being that I'm looking to natural healing first)? PLEASE ANSWER ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS? thank you

How did it happen? How long did it take before you can walk again without limping or using any crutches?

Can you also explain the whole process you went through starting from getting injured to being released from the hospital? How long did you stay at the hospital? How long after being released from the hospital were you able to walk again?

Over the weekend I managed to sprain both my ankles while going down some stairs and missing the last 3. But thinking about it I've realized I've managed to badly sprain my ankle(s) about once a year for the last 5 years and have had maybe 3 other incidneces of minor sprains (I say minor cause there was no bruising, minor swelling, minor pain). So my question is...how badly am I in need of an x-ray? and what can I do to strenghten my ankles??

When I was 11 (I'm 58 now) , I fell and had severe bruising of my left shoulder. On the outer side about 4 inches down, the muscle has always been very weak and fatigues very rapidly. I cannot hold a newspaper for more than a minute and can do very little exercise. Over the years, I've tried many exercises to strenghthen the muscle to no avail. Is it possible that the muscle was killed when injured?
I am at my keyboard right now and it has tired the muscle in the short time it has taken to type this.
I'd like to know if there is anything I can do. I've talked to doctors over the years and never had an answer explaining this.

Do you use night splints, and if so, does it help relieve the daytime tingling and numbness?

I recently cut my hand with a kitchen knife between my index and middle fingers. My middle finger is parially numb - not completely, but has a loss of sensation. And, when I do certain things with my hand, like reaching for a glass, I feel shooting pain in that same finger. I'd just assume avoid surgery if there is another option to remedy this. Anyone out there have a similar problem?

My husband was popping a pimple behind his ear and he felt it pop, but instead of draining on the outside, he felt the pus draining under his skin. He now has a huge red swollen lump below his ear (about the size of a large marble). Has anyone else experienced this? Any advise would be great. Thank you.

Okay, so, I fell at wal-mart (of all places) saturday. My left leg was the one that slipped, so it went straight - my RIGHT leg, however, I went straight down on my knee.

This morning, two days later, I woke up - my knee has a horrible bruise and my whole upper thigh hurts to even move.

Do you think it could just be the weight pressure on my leg when I fell or do you think I could have really hurt myself?
