My husband was popping a pimple behind his ear and he felt it pop, but instead of draining on the outside, he felt the pus draining under his skin. He now has a huge red swollen lump below his ear (about the size of a large marble). Has anyone else experienced this? Any advise would be great. Thank you.

He should see a dermatologist. The concern (and reason why physicians warn against doing this) is that bacteria may get into the bloodstream and travel to the brain or other tissues.

hmm. properly I had one these days on my chin and it did not bypass away.. in spite of proavtive. So.. I took a pair of tweezers and gently rubbed away on the floor. the floor became rubbed away a ways adequate so i ought to sqeeze it. Take your 2 hands and pinch from the two sides not utilising YOUR NAIL!!! lol they make great dents that don't bypass away!! Then each and every of the stuff will come out.. nasty huh.. properly this works quickly. Then take generic face wash and wash away at it. positioned some alchohal on it and then wash it lower back. human beings say this scars yet i did not.

It sounds like an abcess. It may or may not be dangerous, but I would have it looked at none the less.
