Using splints at night can help some people and for some like me it made it worse. Mine got to the point where they tingled all day, no matter what I was doing. I had to get carpal tunnel release surgery (CTR) on both hands about a year and half ago. I haven't had any problems since. If it bothers you all the time and effects how well you can sleep or function during the day, get a referral to an orthopedic surgeon.

I have Carpal Tunnel in both wrists. I use splints at night otherwise the pain and burning keeps me awake. My doctor has me waring the splints during the day also I take them off 5 or 6 times a day to stretch the nerve, If I try to keep them off during the day my hands go numb, tingle and It feels like electric shocks when i turn my wrist. So to answer you question, no it hasn't helped the daytime symptoms so far anyway.

Had it in both hands for years. I wore night splints, and it only got worse. Had surgery on both hands about 5 years ago, and it's completely gone. If you don't get something done about this, you can suffer permanent nerve damage.

I had lost most fine motor function of my hands, and struggled to write, could no longer play piano, etc. 1 week after surgery, it was like it never happened!
