I've never experienced this before that's why I blame the shoes. I was walking in high heels and then ran a little bit when I got caught in the rain, so I 'm wondering if the impact of my foot hitting the ground could be causing the tingling feeling I still have in the bottom of my right foot? It seriously feels like a slight electric current going up from the area (on bottom of my foot) under my toes straight up to my big toe. It's not painful, just an odd feeling. Will this go away soon? Is it harmless?
Please note that I do not have any diseases or problems, and am not on medications, so all of that is ruled out.
PLEASE HELP!

Yup, called plantar fascitis. Ibuprofen might help, ice will likely do more to reduce the inflammation caused by the trauma.

Yes, this has happen to me before. I am 28 now, in good health and exercise frequently. I think I noticed my first experience with this about 2 years or so ago. It happens to me when I wear high heeled shoes, about 3 inches or above, for a long time. Usually a typical work day will do it enough for me. You should go to the store and get some of those Dr. Scholls inserts. They have the regular insert which is good, but you should try the arch support insert for women. That has helped with my tingleness.

I am an event planner and I am walking constantly. Of course, I always have to wear cute heels. But this does come with consequences. After a long event, when I am on my feet all day, I lose sensation in my toes. It usually comes back within a week. If it does not come back, then you should go to a doctor.
