This sensation used to be much worse last week (when I consulted drs. , but since then has eased up greatly, while following her natural healing suggestions. Will this tingling go away when it is completely healed- just so I'm not stuck with it every morning? Ty.

A medical opinion stated that unless there is severe pain (there's no pain), then this will heal on its own, but it will just take longer. And also that I should walk on it a little each day, but just not too much. It feels like it's improving. First I had numbness in my big toe
and a sort of electric shock feeling on the bottom of my foot, but as of now I only have it a little bit in my toe, especially when I wake up. Anyone ever had this happen before ? I want to follow this advice, but would feel more comfortable knowing that it's normal for it to take a while.

a fortnight ago i stepped on a peice of broken glass and very nastily cut my foot open. it was so bad that it resulted in me receiving 6 stitches. thing is though, the cut doesn't hurt so much now, but after a few days of doing it i realised i couldn't move or feel my big toe properly, the cut is just underneath the big toe, like on the joint. anyway at first i thought it was cause of the cut but now i'm not too sure and i am worried it may be broke, but how???
it was bruised at first but they have gone now, but my toe is very swollen and i am really struggling with walking on it. anyone help?

I have been on a hard scramble and a long hike 3 weeks ago with my FITTER mates. I managed both trips, each lasting 7.5 hrs to 9 hrs. I reckon I have over-did my knees and put too much strain onto them for climbing.
Now my knees are still hurting when going up and down the stairs, do you think I should see a doctor or should I let them heal naturally (or painkillers?) or what can I do to ease the pain?

My finger joints only just stopped hurting a week ago! and there's another hike lined up in 3 weeks' time. Help :(

5 days ago I banged my arm really, really hard against my bed. My elbow was in constant pain for the first day, and ever since then I have had an extreme tingling sensation down my arm and my pinky finger and ring finger are numb and tingly. When I bend or twist my arm a certain way or put pressure on it, my entire arm hurts very badly. I'm a little concerned that the tingling sensation and pain have lasted for 5 days, I thought it would be better by now. I believe I have injured my ulnar nerve. Is this serious enough where I should call my doctor? Is there anything my doctor can even do or will it go away on its own? Is there anything I should do to make it feel better?

Kaiser sent me home from a biopsy with my liver still bleeding. I lost 7.5 pints of blood. They tell me if I had waited 30 more minutes to get to the hospital, I'd be dead. My abdomen had to be vacuumed out and my liver cauterized. Since the incident, I've developed Diabetes, with no family history, and High blood pressure. Before the procedure, I had no health problems, except for a few extra pounds that I was carrying. They tell me that a normal size person would have died from this amount of blood loss, but because I'm a larger guy, it saved my life, because I carry more than the average 12 pints. Can anyone tell me if I have any other effects to look forward to ?

I found out a little over a year ago that I have three bulging disks in my back, which was causing pain down my both of my legs. I have had about 5 nerve blocks to try and stop the pain but nothing is working and the doctor wont do anything else. He said I am to young to have surgery(I am 20yrs old). Does anyone know of something that I can be done to fix this problem. I dont care if I have to have surgery. I am just to dang young to be having this much pain!!

I've been on it for a month and a half and am just now starting to break out in hives on my tummy and legs and am wondering if it could be from the wellbutrin? I've heard that you can develop an allergy to a med even though you have been taking it regulary I'm scared to stop taking them because of withdraw side affects. The hives are not there constantly so it is bearable I'm just wanting someone else's opinion before I have to suck it up and actually go see my weird military Doc.

I just moved to a big city, and I walk EVERYWHERE, not to mention both jobs I work require good sturdy footwear. I choose dress shoes. My feet kill, and I really want some way to stop the pain and turn it to profit! So how do i get callouses instead of blisters?!

The 1st joint just above my nail on my thumb has been painful for a few days now. It doesnt hurt all the time but when I bend it sometimes there is a really sharp pain and is tender to the touch. I havent knocked it or done anything to hurt it. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas as to what this may be? Im 31, is that too young for arthritis?
