Hi well ive got to be honest your ankle may not be ok by sunday sorry to say.Sprains can take a long time to heal and can be just as painful as a fracture, this all depends how bad the sprain is.Kepp your foot elevated higher then your heart thats if you have swelling, put a cold ice pack on to the ankle and t6ake regular pain killers and anti-inflammatries if you have them these will help alot.If you have any sort off support tubi grip if not you can get these at most chemists or boots. If your no better in a few days would advise you to see your gp or your nearest A/E dept just to rule out a fracture.Email me if you want more advice.Good Luck.

I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.

So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.

Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.

A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.

Heal your ankle fully & fast?

The order of the suits ability no longer something to me. because I pay interest to the certainly suits i have said that really some mid-carders positioned extra attempt into their performances than countless the adult males who've already made it to the numerous activities. truly some situations the perfect journey of the cardboard is someplace in the mid-card. The older i'm getting, the a lot less the outcomes count number, besides. because the "magic" is lengthy previous (some guy in the decrease back is writing the outcomes), i search for wrestling skill superior. i might want to a lot particularly see a 20-minute solid wrestling journey in which my well-known lost than see a 5-minute squash the position my well-known in basic terms destroys someone. The Bunnymania journey replaced into the "comedy alleviation" between that outstanding emotional flair - HBK journey and the triple chance journey for the WWE identify. It replaced into particularly fluff to enable the followers wind down and modify gears after flair - HBK. It replaced into the right spot for the Divas. i do not comprehend why human beings whinge about each and every damn element that is going on in wrestling. human beings do not comprehend a thanks to be wrestling followers anymore. unhappy...

If your injury is as bad as you seem to think it is , have you went for an x-ray?. You'll have to unfortunately forfeit your gawf match. Shortermism isn't always the best policy. Keep the leg up. My ankle was bust two years ago and I went for a 6 mile hike the next day , I'm still suffering today with pain pangs at night. Beware!!.

Give it a miss! You will probably damage your ankle more by demanding a golf round from it when it is already damaged.
The other advice given will help but there is a risk of killing the pain to enable you to walk OK but not relising that you are doing more damage because the pain reflex is suppressed.

Best to miss the golf match and allow your ankle to heal properly, you could make more problems for yourself if you try to be a hero and play with an injury!

Frozen Peas and warm Flannels in rotation stay off it tonight and neck a couple of painkillers in the morning. If it's still bad try one of those elasticated support thingys.
P.s. Good Luck with the Golf!

i'd give it a miss if i were you - your health comes first

but if it really means that much to you, then tie firm bandage on the ankle after applying deap heat

suggest you see your GP anyway and dont strain your leg further.
