Pregnenolone -pinched nerves &arthrititis

Anybody use pregnenolone for pinched nerves and arthritis ?

It is an otc (over the counter legal steroid precursor geared to the elderly)

i am trying it it is a dhea precursor . It feels like the nsaid mobic .

i feel looser and not as stiff.

in addition it feels as if my learning switch was set to on .

i dont know what good doses are for it . Doses range from 10 mg's oral to 600 mg's injection .

I started slow one 30 mg pill per day and will ramp up to 3x30 mg pills per day .

Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

Pregnenolone serves as a precursor to other hormones, including your ailments. More research is needed to determine the functions (if any) of pregnenolone in the body. This research is incomplete and anything done will be trial and error. But I am sure you already know this.

Sounds like the sciatic nerve is being affected if so that can be very painful. Playing basketball can make it worse so take the doctors advice. as far as the length it can last, that really depends on how bad it is and where it is. Some require surgery to fix while others can heal on their own once inflammation is reduced. I am speaking from experience, I have a bad problem with my lower back always getting inflamed and pinching the nerves in my legs. The MRI's I've had usually last from 45minutes to an hour. Yours could be as little as 10-15 minutes or as long as I said above. Good luck I hope this helps.Listen to the doctor.
