I HATE it when that happens! Try the Elmer's Glue that comes in the little jar as a paste. Not only will it adhere your head back on, but it's known for it's lack of "long term stickability" so you can establish a flip-top head. Also, it has a fresh minty smell so the next time you have a spicy food or something with too much garlic (you know, when your breath stinks and it's coming from your stomach as much as your mouth) then your mouth will emit a minty-fresh smell. Watch the glue sniffers though.....could get dangerous and you could potentially wind up in a "vampire" sort-of predicament. Unless you have a neck fetish wear a scarf when out in public.

For a good set..epoxy. For a quick temporary set..super glue*note* this has a tendancy, with heat, to fall apart and you may loose your head again. If all else fails..duct tape, not just for NASCAR anymore. It can withhold high winds as you blow off steam! It even comes in racey colors. And for the small time popper...mom's can assemble a band-ade with a kiss and make it feel all better!

I would personally get it stitched back on and glued at the same time.
Just make sure that you align the head in the proper direction.
Nothing worse than having to get around looking sideways, you miss out on so much.
One last tip........stay away from funny people cause they tend to make you laugh your head off.

Just drink water, and take some green tea. It will heal on its own. For the spelling, take Robitussin. Robitussin is for anything.

I recommend titanium rivets and thin-set mortar in such cases. Try Home Depot.
