Hospice can be called when a Dr. certifies that all has been done that can be & a person is dying. That person may go into a Hospice center or stay at home or even in a nursing home. Hospice helps families come to terms with losing their loved one. They also ck. on the person at least once a day to make sure palliative care is going ok & keep everyone advised. They make sure that families know how to make funeral arrangements If it isn't already done. They are a huge help to those who need them. I sincerely hope you or your family don't need them right now but if you do then please accept my condolences.

Yes, they are a support groups that help terminal people die with dignity. In some cases they provide the care at home and in others they have facilities.

I had to use the service when my father died of cancer, they are amazing people, I do not know how they do it. The one I used provided the service at no cost, I made a large donation though, I was impressed

I hope you do not need the services but if you do you can contact the United Way, they can refer you.

Hospice is a special supportive medical environment that people with terminal illnessess can go to die. Their family can stay with them and the rooms are set up nice and homey. There must be psychiatric support for everyone there. I'm hoping your not asking for a loved one or yourself.
