i was lefting up a toddler and i hurt my back on monday. been taking back aid and doans pills useing heating pads but its still killing me. hurts to get up and down. to move. i dont want to go if its just a tore muscle. but how do one know?

Back in Nov 05, it was raing really hard and I slipped and fell. I fell with my legs forward as in a sitting position. As I was falling I put out my arms to ease up on the landing. Well my right shoulder went a little too far up. It hurted a bit, not too much. I waited out the pain thinking that it might just be bruised. But here I am, almost 9 months later and the pain has not gone away. I had xrays taken and nothing is broken, I was told to just give it time.

Any little movement will cause it to hurt. It almost feels as though the muscles are all tangled up. I have a hard time performing day to day activities.

Should I get a new doctor or give it more time?

Well, about 5 hours ago my brother popped bubble wrap by my ear, it was really painful at the time of the incident, and my ear was ringing for about 30 seconds after. Now it rings at random times every once in a while? Is this going to stop? is this the similar case of being at a rock concert for a while or being by the speakers?

I'm looking for an answer as to if I have a wrongful death case against a pharmacy that filled a prescription for narcotics for my husband in 2005. On Feb. 9, 2005 my husband's doc prescribed 50 Valium (10 mg) and 100 Oxycodone for Chronic Pain. The Valium was to last 10 days (an unually high dose according to the pharmacist). On Feb. 15, 2005, my husband called in for a refill. This was 4 days too early, but the doctor faxed in a refill for 150 Valium (10 mg)..the pharmacy filled it!! Why WHY?? First of all, the doc overprescribed to a man who had attempted suicide twice within a year (once in April of 2005 by a Valium overdose and once on Jan. 29, 2005 by slashing his wrists). I feel the doc should have never prescribed these meds so soon after a suicide attempt. It reeks of malpractice, but I've spoken to lawyers who turned me down. PLEASE HELP ME. I am disabled and now a widow. It's not fair and I seek JUSTICE for my husband. Thank you, Jana

it was a color projector and i walked through it and accidentaly looked at the laser i blinked and looked right away so maybe i had 1or 2 second exposor could i have burned my retinas

My 13 year old fell and hit is collarbone. He can move it up, down and around; however he can not move his arm straight in front of his body. The area is a little swelled but overall not to bad. He seems to be in a little pain but not too much.

9 weeks ago I shattered my hand practicing Kemp with my instructor, I initially broke it in 3 places. It has healed completely since then but everything I do with that hand causes pain, and sometimes I cant move it at all. I went to my doctor he said I was fine. I went to a surgeon and he did surgery saying that a nerve or a joint was pinched or something. Since then it has been hurting worse and more often, can someone tell me whats wrong? Or atleast what I should do?

I experienced a shoulder injury in October of 2005. I've been to different doctors and have had x-rays and mri's taken but yet everyone seems to agree that there isnt a tear or break anywhere in my shoulder area. I keep experiencing sharp pains everytime i raise my hand up over my head or make a throwing motion. After too much use, the pain is really uncomfortable and sometimes it results in me not being able to move my arm for a day or two This is very frusterating since I am an athletic person that likes to lift weights and play sports which involve these specific motions. Icing and anti-inflammatory's have not resulted in a solution either. Im curious if there is anyone out there that has had a similar injury and if so how did you get rid of it?

Has anyone ever bruised ribs before?? I can't find a comfortable position to sleep in. I bruised four or five ribs on my left side playing volleyball and I can't get comfortable. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I stepped on a piece of glass at the beach earlier today. It was so sharp, it went right through my tennis shoe & punctured my foot.
The wound bled heavily at first, but by the time I got home & took my shoes & socks off, it was a tiny little dot of a wound with no bleeding. I cleaned it and put a bandaid on.
My friend thinks I should get a tetanus shot. I can't recall the last time I had a booster, but I am terrified if I go in I will have to get the shot where they give you a bunch of shots in your stomach. Do doctor's still do that for tetanus? I'd love it if a medical professional could tell me what to expect...

I just got back from the hospital because I hurt my ankel.It was slit open pretty deep that the doctor could stick his hole finger in it.Puke!I had to get two stitches on the inside and seven on the outside.I have it wrapped up and it hurts real bad.Can someone cheer me up?

ok usely when i sit or lay down for a while like a hour or so or when i got to sleep i will either wake up or get up and my sides of my pelvis bones are so sore my mom said if it gets any worse or stays that way she will take me to the doctor ! I broke my arm, wrist and hand in a motorbike accident 7 months ago. I have absolutely no strength at all in the fingers of that hand, and it is still very painful. My GP says its nothing, but why does "nothing" hurt so much??? It is so bad I have had to have all the lefthand cotrols on my bike moved onto the right side as I cannot use the hand. Help.

I just started a job where I am on my feet all day, but I don't remember doing anything to hurt it, but it kills me by the end of the day. Also, I can't wear tennis shoes to work to help support it. What can cause your ankle to just start hurting all of a sudden?
