Seven months after you break something is too long to still be in a lot of pain. I could understand if you had some lingering soreness, but to not be able use your hand or move it at all? That's ridiculous. You should be seeing a physical therapist as well as a GP, to get the stregth back in your arm. It sounds like you may have some nerve damage, and you might need to see someone for that as well.
Most importantly, You should see a different GP. He or she should listen to you when you say you are in pain, or are unable to use an important limb, and should try to help, not dismiss your questions. Sounds like a pretty crappy doctor to me! Good luck!

Why are you seeing your GP for this? You should be seeing an othopedist who, if necessary, can refer you to a neurologist. But it sounds like you probably need more physical therapy to get the strength and movement back. Go to a good orthopedic surgeon. Good luck.

I broke my ankle and leg in a fall, I was in a cast for 6 months or so.
When the cast came off leg did not hurt but just a slight tap on the ankle was pretty intense and hurt like a sob for like 3 weeks, after that all my strength and such came back.

Go see a different doctor and get a second opinion. That is what I would do. If your whole arm hurts really badly then there may be something still wrong with it.

Maybe it's time to think about how safe that motorbike really is. You probably really did some damage in your left arm, and it might take months and months for it to heal completely. You probably bruised your bone to which hurts like hell. That sucks, and I hope it feels better soon!

Can't help with the medical side, but the start of your question sounds like a great title for a martial arts film!!

Sound like it at least needs physiotherapy if not a neurologist. Insist on a referral.

get yourself to physio therapist. if your gp wont refer you, you can refer yourself by writting to the hospital directly.
it may just take a long time to heal properly. sounds like a real bad break.
