I was in a car accident in 2001, hit on the left side of the car (driver side) I was not driving, airbags went off and car was totatled, so now I get back spasms on my lower left side and some times my whole left side is very tight and sore, when I do really hard lifiting like yardwork or working out at the gym the next day I'm in pain. but I just want to spasms to stop, so I can have a normal day and not walk hunched over.

I mean is it really beneficial? Aren't you just stretching it again and wouldn't it it result in more damage?

My sweetie broke his big toe about three years ago and it is still causing him problems. Can an orthopedic surgeon fix it? Or is it somehow "too late"? THANK YOU!

to the clumsiness. I have stepped on nails.. always cutting my hand on something or other.
Then about a month ago, I cut my hand on the chain saw. I had to go to the hosp and get stiches. Luckliy I'd had a tetnus shot a few years ago. But what I want to know is, when the next shot is due (the last was 2001) and when the time is up - should I get one BEFORE I do something or wait unitl I cut myself - again! And if I do wait, will the last shot still be effective if Icut myself - AGAIN!

I'd love to slow down but I somehow don't think that will happen for another 30 yrs! I am 49 now and on meds for anxiety and ADHD.

my toe. about a week ago, i fell & my toenail hit the edge of the step, & popped up my toenail. I went to the doctor & they romoved it, bandaged it & sent me home, I changed the bandage they put on. I have kept neosporin & a bandaid on my toe. I havnt left the bandaid off, or cleaned it. It is VERY tender. Would it be ok to clean it with peroxide or something?? please help, i dont want my toe to run the risk of getting infescted. =[

Like in the Phantom of the Opera, when Phantom gives Carlotta a drink and she cannot sing at all. Her voice is squelched. Does something like that actually exist in real life??

my wrist to stop hurting? I was in acrobats and took a nasty fall two months ago. I landed on my hands and now any weight on my wrist is almost unbearable. I have worn a walmart brand brace for about two weeks now, but it just seems to be getting worse. Does it get worse before it gets better? do i need to spend money on an xray? what do you think is wrong with it?

I closed the car door on it yesterday, yep big ow! the door fully shut and hand was stuck in car. It hurts a lot but can still move it... i have never broken anything before so dont know and even if you do break fingers, thumbs, toes, etc. can they even be fixed??

Okay so I recently got into a car accident, I was sent to get an MRI, and that's when they informed me, that I have a herniated disc and a protruding disc on my lumbar (lower) part of my back, and that I have 3 swollen disc and one herniated disc on the cervical (upper where my neck is) part of my back. I am going to see the orthopedic this upcoming Wednesday. I have a lawyer already because they didn't want to pay my medical bills when I called myself, well now that they found out I have a lawyer they agreed to pay my medical bills, but now I'm going to sue the guy for the accident, if anyone knows I'm just curious, how much does a settlement for something like this kind of injury will I get back approx. a range. Thanks!

my friend was hit in the head.He was in one of the coaches of one of the seven trains when the serial blasts took place in mumbai trains recently.I have'nt seen him but his father told me he's in coma...will he be back to normal?is it really undetermineable?

I have a burning sensation on the inside of my left arch, and sometimes I get a shooting pain that feels like a head ache from my arch up to the top of my foot... I did go to the chiropractor and it helped a little... I dropped a heavy object on that foot about 3 weeks ago, but It didnt bother till this past week... It felt like a shoulder blade muscle. but i tried massaging all the muscles to find it. that's not it. it's terrible...almost unbearable... hurts worse than when i broke my collar bone. hurst to breathe! any ideas... i'm about to head to the emergency room if it doesn't calm down
