my wrist to stop hurting? I was in acrobats and took a nasty fall two months ago. I landed on my hands and now any weight on my wrist is almost unbearable. I have worn a walmart brand brace for about two weeks now, but it just seems to be getting worse. Does it get worse before it gets better? do i need to spend money on an xray? what do you think is wrong with it?

A sprain can hurt like all get out for a long time. At the very least, for your own peace of mind, see a doctor. There are good and bad points about wearing a brace. The good is it can hold the joint immobile while it heals. The bad is it keeps the shocked muscles from regaining their strength.

go to the doctor now, bone doesn't go back to normal state naturally, the shape stays, the longger it takes, the worst it may be, if doctor prescribe an x-ray then it is a must,
