I'm 20 years old. I usually drink lots of water. I am a smoker and don't excercise too much. I was very dehydrated due to consumtion of way too much alcohol early this week ( i usually don't drink much) but that's when the dizzy spells started. Since that day i have stayed extra hydrated but they keep comming back. If i cough I get dizzy for a moment also when i look down very quickly. Looking up usually makes it go away more quickly but why is this happening?

They gave it to me in jail when I was kicking heroin. It tasted like red kool-aid with salt in it. It helps to relax and its the only thing i could keep down. The jail was in Cowlitz county wa. if that helps

Autism is not a mental illness, but a neuro-biological disorder. But I'm not sure what category would be best for this question. I hope placing it here in the mental health section does not offend anyone. If it does, I'd like to apologize.

Ok, what exactly is the Combating Autism Act, and why are many parents of Autustic children, and many Autistic adults against it? Will this act find ways to prevent children with this syndrome from being born, or will it simply spread awareness about Autism, and provide treatment so that Autistics can function with more ease in society?

Would this also apply to people with Aspergers? Also, what will this mean for adults who have gone undiagnosed for years, only to find out at 20, 30, and older they have an autistic spectrum disorder? Will they be ostracized even more if Autism is eventually gotten rid of in the future? I'm confused and interested in hearing both sides. Thanks.

My friend has been ill for 3 months with a disease that they have now found out to be "viral serabolitus". Im not sure it that's how you spell it but the literal translation is "swelling of the brain". I was wondering if anyone knew what it was? what causes it and how to spell it?

I was just diagnosed with TTS and I have flat feet. My insurance company will not pay for the custom made orthotics that are, according to my doc, very necessary for treatment/condition. Does anyone have any suggestions on how safe or effect it is to treat this with store bought arch supports instead of custom made. I will inform my doc when i go back in two weeks. I am concerned that I will cause more damage by not getting the custom made orthotics. any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Also, will the pain go away, it started so suddenly and it is very complicated to continue my normal lifestyle with this pain. thanks!!

My doctor told me I have anxiety..And I do suffer from many of its symptoms..But what is really concerning me is the forgetfulness and and sometimes when I talk it's like my mind goes blank and I can't find the right words..I'm just 17..and I dont' get that much sleep too..I usually sleep for 3 to 4 hours..I believe it could just be a brain tumor and not anxiety at all :(

you need an MRI do determine if you have MS. It pisses me off that he just based his conclusion on an assumption and not actual facts. I haven't been to the Doc in a long time and now I remember why! I would never tell someone that they might have a condition ( whatever it may be) without doing some ground work first and knowing for sure. Maybe i'm over-reacting??

lately i have been extremely exhausted and so tired and weak. i can't even walk up some stairs without feeling exhausted. i am always so hungry, but whenever i try to eat something i feel sick. i've also had a rapid decrease in appetite. i don't feel like eating as much as i used to. i keep getting bruises on my arms and legs, and i'm sure there's no reason for them. plus my hair falls out, and i constantly feel like throwing up. i've been feeling this way for a couple of weeks now. also it feels like i'm having problems with my heart. i have a lot of pain there, along with trouble breathing at times. i hope someone could give me some insight on what might be the problem and what steps i should take to get better. please, real answers, not smart alec ones. thanks in advance for the help.

I feel like I am on a pooping schedule. If I eat a big meal, I have to poop about 10 minutes after, like clockwork. Other than that, I dont really have a problem with my bowels and my stomach doesnt hurt a lot or anything. I just poop a lot and when I eat heavy, always 10 minutes after, I have to go. Could this be irritable bowel or something else?

I went to the doctors a few days ago because I just wanted to know if I had a hemmorhoid or not. Turns out I've been living with an obvious external one for 2 years or so. He knew it was one immediately so he had given me a cream and some suppositories just in case I had an internal one as well. I told him I rarely bleed, and I do mean rarely. Day 1 after using the cream and suppository I was fine and did not bleed. Day 2, some blood came out during my bowel movement. So I'm wondering if its the suppository working on a possible internal one? Should I be worried?

My throat started acting funny yesterday. I feel like there is something stucked there, but I can swallow food just as usual. I just don't feel very comfortable with my throat. I know the best way is to go see a doctor, but I want to hear some suggestions about my situation first, thank you.

I was wondering..I'm only 17 and my doctor told me that I suffer from anxiety due to recent stress problems such as my dad's death, financial problems, school stress, sleep deprivation, and family problems..within the past year..I started feeling weird things and I was wondering if anyone who has/had anxiety has gone through the same things such as:
muscle spasms, feeling like you're gonna die, fear of a fatal illness, bizarre thoughts that don't make sense when I'm tired, weak/numb/tingling hands and legs, feeling dizzy/wobbly, throbbing head like brain is shaking, difficulty concentrating, blurred/foggy vision, tightness in face

To be honest I don't really believe that this is only anxiety, I feel like I have a brain tumor and that scares me more..I dont' even want to go check it out because I'm so scared but I'm going to this summer...I feel like I'm going insane...so I was wondering if anyone felt the same.. Thanks..

it's like if i'm holding a 32 ounce water bottle, i'll feel like a "pull" in my elbow. if i'm typing at work, and extend my arm while moving the mouse, i feel the "pull".
i don't know that i'd say it hurts. it's kinda like...a cold skinny straw is between my elbow joint. as long as i hold that water bottle, i feel it.
i've never had any joint issues. i am 43 years old though. i did break my elbow when i was around...8?
any ideas? i know i could go to the doctor, but i hate to pay the co-pay and find out it's no big deal. ya know?

Is this normal? Say, 140/80 one day, and then the next (same time of day) it's 100/60. Anybody know why this happens? I'm pretty sure it's not from nerves... My pulse (resting) has been switching around for no reason as well... in the 130s and then in the 60s.

Any knowledge or experience to share? I appreciate it.
