My sisters MD told her she has Momo....probably had it when she was younger and it has stayed in her system until now.
Also, she is a breast cancer patient.....3rd yeasr free.

I had mono and anyone at any age can get it. It can be gotten just from drinking from the same glass or water fountain from somebody who has it. That was a terrible experience. Similar to having the flu only much worse. Its also is called the kissing disease.

I believe anyone can get mono. It doesn't just happen to adolescents.

Also, congrats for your sister being cancer free. Unfortunately, my sister passed away from breast cancer in November. 9 days short of her 36th birthday. :(

you would be surprised what you can get from touching door handles at the mall...... gross..... mono is just one of thousands of horrible things you can get... so i would say yes..
