Is this normal? Say, 140/80 one day, and then the next (same time of day) it's 100/60. Anybody know why this happens? I'm pretty sure it's not from nerves... My pulse (resting) has been switching around for no reason as well... in the 130s and then in the 60s.

Any knowledge or experience to share? I appreciate it.

Things like caffeine, nicotine, cold/diet pills, energy drinks, stress, pain or even moderate activity, (climbing stairs) can elevate the BP and pulse. Make sure you have been resting with both feet on the ground (legs not crossed) and the arm for the BP reading at 'heart height', not angled down. It also can make a difference what position you are in (sitting vs lying). If you are on any BP meds, what you eat can affect how quickly your body metabolizes the med (fatty meals will slow down digestion/absorption usually).

I saw on one of your other questions that you mentioned dizziness.

Are you dieting? You may have hypoglycemia, low blood sugar. Eat some protein every two hours to help keep you sugars level.

The blood pressure can be erratic if the atlas, the top two vertebrae at the base of the scull are not in adjustment.
A Chiropractic adjustment will correct that.

I have gone to a Chiropractor for about 60 years and NEVER have ever had high blood pressure. One adjustment to your spine monthly and you will feel much better.
